Week 8 of the Uganda Boxing Champions League (#UBCL) delivered another thrilling night of action at Club Obligato, showcasing elite skill, fierce competition, and a mix of unanimous victories, knockout finishes, and razor-close split decisions.

The evening saw Farahat Manilora of Lukanga Boxing Club put on a dominant display, earning a 5:0 unanimous decision over Muleme Denis (Cobap BC) in the Elite 63.5kg category.

In one of the night’s biggest finishes, Kasasa Isaac (Katabi BC) stopped Mutaasa Ashraf (Mutajjazi BC) with a fifth-round KO in the Elite 71kg division, cementing his reputation as a dangerous puncher.

Split decisions kept the crowd on edge, as Kiggundu Leone (Lukanga BC) edged Kimuli Henry (Mutajjazi BC) 4:1 in the Elite 57kg bout, while Mawanda Depark (EastCoast BC) narrowly beat Ssubi Samuel (Nansana Kyebando BC) 5:2 in the Elite 71kg clash.

The Elite 75kg category saw Mukuye Harold (UPDF BC) dominate Walugembe Emma (Boggie BC) with a clean 5:0 unanimous verdict, while Nandaula Zahara (Lukanga BC) impressed with an RSC Round 4 stoppage over Namagembe Aisha (Nakawa BC) in the Elite 60kg division.

In the Youth 80kg category, Mukasa Akram (Cobap BC) battled to a 5:2 split decision win against Hussein Ahmed (Lukanga BC). Meanwhile, Kalyango Abubaker (Lukanga BC) showcased sharp skills in the Youth 71kg division, earning a 5:0 unanimous decision over Serubugo Ashraf (Boggie BC).

The junior division also brought excitement as Nabakiibi Tracy (Ssaku BC) dominated Nabatte Prossy (Kyengera BC) for a 5:0 unanimous decision in the Junior 48kg category.
