In the Elite 92+ Kg division, Ebong Emmy of Kiwatule Boxing Club showcased grit and composure to edge WestCoast BC’s Zikama Sabbath with a 4:1 victory.
The youth ranks also produced fireworks as KCCA’s Ochan Raymond thrilled the crowd with his accuracy and relentless energy, earning a 4:1 decision over Lukanga’s Serunkuma Muhammad in the Youth 60 Kg bout.
Lukanga Boxing Club celebrated success when Yanick Monga dominated UPDF’s Jamidali Adam, sealing a commanding 4:1 win in the Elite 86 Kg division.
In one of the most closely contested clashes of the night, Brawn BC’s Matovu Livingstone edged UPDF’s Golola Moses with a narrow 4:3 victory in the Elite 51 Kg contest, drawing loud cheers from the stands.
The Youth 54 Kg bout saw UPDF’s Mundu Zakia in unstoppable form, outclassing KCCA’s Namitala Daphne with a clean 5:0 unanimous decision.
Closing the night’s highlights, Kololo BC’s Kato Kazibwe battled to a hard-earned 3:2 split decision win over UPDF’s Ochan Geofrey in the Elite 48 Kg category.
With Week 9 wrapped up, the UBCL continues to cement itself as Uganda’s premier boxing spectacle—where talent meets determination, and fans turn the arena into a cauldron of excitement.
