“Nara Promotionz Wishes Allen Hope and Faisal Ashinda Jr. Success in Their Final Exams!”

As the academic year draws to a close, Uganda’s boxing community is rallying behind two of its most promising young fighters — Nanyonjo Allen Hope Sseruyange and Faisal Ashinda Jr. — as they prepare to sit for their final examinations.

Allen, widely known as Nahs12 “Smiling Girl the Youth”, will be sitting for her Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) this month, marking yet another key milestone in her remarkable journey as one of Uganda’s fastest-rising amateur boxing stars.

Meanwhile, Faisal Ashinda Jr., son of one of Africa’s most respected boxing matchmakers, Faisal Ashinda, is set to sit for his UCE exams at Cornerstone Secondary School, Nakindye. The young fighter has already made his mark in the amateur ranks, winning a gold medal earlier this year — a testament to his growing potential inside the ring.

Speaking about his son’s performance, Mr. Ashinda explained that Faisal’s slight slowdown in boxing activity this year was intentional:

“We decided to focus on his academics first. Boxing will always be there, but education gives him balance and discipline. After exams, he will return stronger than ever.”

For Allen, the exams come shortly after a major achievement — receiving a full bursary from Little Dolphins International School for her secondary education (S.1 to S.4), awarded in recognition of her talent and inspiring role among Uganda’s youth.

Nara Promotionz, one of Uganda’s leading boxing brands, extended its heartfelt wishes to both young athletes and all students balancing academics with sports:

“We are proud of Allen and Faisal for showing that true champions fight both in and out of the ring. Education is the foundation that shapes better athletes, leaders, and citizens. We wish them success in their exams and continued excellence in boxing.”

Both young boxers represent the bright future of Ugandan boxing — one built not only on physical skill but also on mental focus and educational growth.

As the nation watches them take this next big step, the message is clear: boxing may shape the body, but education shapes the champion.
