Busungu beat a strong lineup of top contenders, including Kibra Owen, Herbert Matovu, and the undefeated Bob Turyatemba, to claim this coveted honor. The award, newly introduced to celebrate fighters who dominate not just in the ring but also in public attention and digital influence, has quickly become one of the most followed recognitions in the sport.

Under the mentorship of Nara Promotions and currently training out of Kasita Gym, Busungu has captivated fans with his explosive performances. The super welterweight powerhouse boasts an impressive record of 7 wins, 6 by knockout, and no losses—a feat that underlines his dominance in the division.

KO Busungu is now preparing for his highly anticipated fight on August 2nd at Club Obligato, where he will face off against Philly Musene in a bout organized by Nara Promotions under the event series Sweet Science Reloaded.
