Kampala, Uganda – Ugandan professional boxer Conrad Sseruyange, popularly known as KingKong, continues to make waves in the boxing world despite a tough start to his international career. Representing Baltic Pro Boxing Promotions, KingKong recently stepped into the ring for his first international bout — a high-stakes six-round contest that tested his endurance, spirit, and determination.
Though he faced defeat, Sseruyange defied expectations by going the full six rounds — a feat many doubted he could achieve. His relentless heart and never-give-up attitude earned him praise from fans and critics alike, marking him as one of Uganda's toughest rising prospects in the pro circuit.
In recognition of his resilience and rapidly growing influence on social media, Sseruyange has been officially voted the Baltic Brand Ambassador — a prestigious role that reflects his inspirational journey and popularity among boxing enthusiasts.
In a celebratory event held today, Baltic Pro Boxing Promotions awarded KingKong a brand-new motorcycle, symbolizing both reward and recognition for his growing impact in the sport. The handover ceremony was conducted by the new Baltic promoter, Mr. Vicente, alongside the newly elected President of Professional Boxing in Uganda, Mr. Eddie Bazira.
“KingKong represents the fighting spirit of Uganda. His dedication, his fan base, and his professionalism are everything this sport needs,” said Mr. Vicente.
With this milestone, KingKong further cements his name among Uganda’s most trending and inspiring boxers, using his story not only to entertain but to motivate a new generation of fighters.
