*Kenya – July 1, 2025*
Uganda’s rising star **Kibira Owen**, fighting under **12 Sports Promotion**, delivered a thrilling comeback performance in Kenya after recovering from a second-round knockdown to stop Tanzanian opponent **Ally Hamis Muzee** in the third round of their professional bout.
In what was only his **second professional fight** since turning pro earlier this year, Kibira demonstrated heart, composure, and knockout power — solidifying his place as one of Uganda’s most promising boxing talents.
The fight got intense in the second round when Kibira was caught by a well-timed punch from Hamis, sending him to the canvas. The crowd roared as the referee gave the count, but the Ugandan warrior showed true grit by beating the count, regaining his footing, and fighting back with even more determination.
Round three saw a different Kibira Owen. He came out aggressive and calculated, cornering Hamis with fierce combinations. Midway through the round, a devastating right hook followed by a clean uppercut sent the Tanzanian crashing to the canvas — this time, for good. The referee waved off the bout, declaring Kibira the winner by **third-round knockout**.
*"It’s not about falling, it’s about rising. I stayed calm, listened to my corner, and came back stronger,"* Owen said after the fight.
