HENRY OTEBA OVERCOMES INJURY TO WIN BY UNANIMOUS DECISION IN GUTSY 8-ROUND PERFORMANCE

In an inspiring display of courage and resilience, Henry Oteba of Subena Promotions, under Sparks Boxing Academy, powered through a hand injury sustained in the 3rd round to claim a unanimous decision victory in an 8-round thriller at Club Obligato. The bout was part of a well-attended event organized by Ziso Promotions.

Oteba, who entered the ring with confidence and ambition, appeared in control during the early rounds of the contest. However, midway through the third round, he suffered a noticeable injury to his hand, which limited his ability to throw combinations with full force.

Despite the physical setback, Oteba chose to fight on, relying mostly on one hand for the remainder of the match. The Ugandan fighter showed remarkable composure, adjusting his strategy and using his ring generalship to outpoint his opponent round after round.

"I had hoped to stop him early, but the injury changed everything," Oteba said after the fight. "I had to rely on just one hand, but I couldn't disappoint my team or my fans."

His manager, Mr. Subena, expressed pride in Oteba’s determination but confirmed that medical attention would be the next priority.
"We are taking the injury seriously," he stated. "Oteba was being considered for a fight outside Uganda, so we’ll conduct a full medical assessment to determine the extent of the damage."

The judges awarded Oteba a unanimous decision (UD) victory, recognizing his tactical adaptability and sheer heart to finish the bout under difficult circumstances.
