"The team is in shape, focused, and physically fit. We’re ready for the challenge and we believe we’ll return home with medals," Coach Lora stated.

The traveling squad includes some of Uganda’s most promising boxing talent, such as Nuhu Bate, Brenda Mudowa, and several others. Nuhu Bate, who will captain the team, is currently the reigning super welterweight champion in the Uganda Boxing Champions League and is expected to lead by example in Kigali.
